I have decided to close my photography business.

This is a bittersweet day for me as I have decided to close my photography business. Four years ago I decided to take the plunge into the world of professional photography by starting my own business. This past year has brought me a lot of obstacles, but most unnerving are some health problems that we are still trying to diagnose. This has made me realize that I need to have more time to focus on my family and my health. I have had some really wonderful experiences and have met so many amazing people. I would like to give a huge thanks to all of my clients that I’ve had over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching your families grow and being able to witness and document new chapters in your lives. Thank you for choosing me to capture those precious memories. I know it's time to end this chapter in my life and maybe someday I’ll pick it up again, but for now I know this is the best thing to do.
Thank you all for your support!

On August 22nd I had a family session with Merari

As I was looking through these photos I was moved to tears. This session really remined me of just why I love doing this! I was able to capture several heartfelt moments with this family that really put into perspective just how important it is to be able to capture these images! I have been photographing this family ever since Landon was a baby, I cant believe he is almost 2! Merari will be deployed to Iraq next week, it brings tears to my eyes knowing they will be away from each other.

Please always remember what you're doing will always be appreciated and never forgotten. I wish you all the best and pray for your safe and speedy return home to your family and friends. Thank you.
