On January 29th, I had a very special session with a very special girl.

Lyndon has been coming to me for sessions ever since she was in her mommy’s tummy! She has been coming every three months since then. This was her 1 year old birthday session! We were all looking forward to this session and it seemed to have come so quickly. Her mother Jordan was sad to see her growing older, but also so excited for all the things yet to come. We started the session with lots of balloons, which Lyndon loved! I found the cutest little lamb that was soft and fuzzy from "Emma’s Down Town" which is a wonderful store right across the street from my studio. We ended the session with yummy cupcakes, except Lyndon to my surprise didn’t like the cupcakes! I thought she would make a huge mess, but instead she wanted that sticky frosting off of her as quickly as possible! Lyndon however loved the number one candle and tried to eat the plastic, yum! This was a fun session! I’m so blessed to have been able to capture so many wonderful memories as she has grown right before our eyes. Thank you Pam and Jordan for trusting me with such precious memories. Here are some pictures from when she first started coming, my how she has grown…!

On January 15th, I had a Valentines session with Ruby and Jack.

These cuties are frequent clients of mine! I just love when they come in. They know the drill, come in, look around, smile for the camera and then they get a goodie bag! I sure do enjoy these two, they are so darn cute and so much fun to talk with. I look forward to seeing you all in the spring for Easter pictures!

On Friday, I had the honor of photographing these two brothers, Tim and Tyler. I was so excited about this session! I really wanted the photos to feel something, I wanted them to show emotion. I love how the images turned out! These guys were so fun to work with and they had me laughing a lot. I thank you guys for your service to our country! Thank you so much for coming in! Take care out there!

On December 31st, I had a Couples Session with Jenn and Justin.

I must say, I had a blast at this session! I am advising all couples to have come in for a Couples Session. All my clients sayto their other half, “I haven’t looked into your eyes this much in a long time.” I see my clients love for each other come alive while I’m photographing them. They don’t have to worry about work, kids and other obligations getting in the way. They can just hang out and focus on each other. Some couples start to laugh as I ask them to gaze into each other’s eyes! When was the last time you truly looked into your lovers eyes? This couple was so much fun and despite Jenn falling off the chair and landing on her back, the session went very smoothly! We had lots of laughs which made for a fun session and revealed how close these two are! Have fun in Hawaii!

Valentine’s Day casting call sessions

On December 31st and January 1st I had a casting call for Valentine’s Day photos. I had 5 sessions in those two days and they were super fun! The girls definitely enjoyed the feather bowas and sunglasses! I was able to capture adorable images for my window displays and I’m so excited to put them up! Whenever I need pictures for my windows or marketing/advertising needs I post an ad on Facebook looking for people interested in a free session. I got lots of responses and had to cut it off after receiving 8 e-mails within a 20 minute span! Be on the lookout for these special sessions! Next up will be Spring photos! I hope to have a live bunny and baby chicks to add to the Spring theme!

Valentine’s Day special sessions going on now through February 14th!

On December 31st, I had a newborn session with little Kamdyn.

This sweet little boy was only 1 week old at his session. Unfortunately, this poor boy was just not feeling well. He was a bit fussy and refused to go to sleep. Really though, can you blame him? All the bright lights, being in a new environment and some strange lady up in his face with a big black thing aka my camera, is more than enough to make a baby fussy! Newborn sessions take a lot of time because of feedings, diaper changes, swaddling and lots of love. I did get a few great images for that sweet family. I love the pictures of his Grandma holding him, how sweet is that? Kamdyn instantly calmed down when we used the cocoon sack, he loved it! All though I think his mom was a little nervous watching us stick him in there. Thank you all for coming in it was so nice to meet you!

On December 21st I had a family/newborn session with a wonderful family

This family is so adorable and so much fun to photograph! Hamilton and Ramie recently welcomed their baby boy Isaiah into their family. Brother and sister Kenna and Quin seem so delighted to have their little brother here! Baby Isaiah was as sweet as can be! It was a little tricky to get him to fall asleep, but once he was out, I was able to capture some adorable images of him. I bought the cute little hat on http://www.etsy.com/ by a wonderful lady. Thank you all for coming in and congrats to your new addition!
